Rural Ottawa 3 - Kenauk

Just north of the town of Montebello is the Fairmont Kenauk Resort, comprising a relatively unspoiled forest with interconnected lakes and beaver ponds.  I spent a long weekend there this past September (2003) with friends David and Joyce.  We stayed at the Sugarbush cabin (and consumed some quantity of food and wine).  One foggy morning the light was spectacular, changing from a pre-dawn magenta to a soft blue as the sun rose above the mist.
