Louisiana - Swamp
| Early one morning, Wendy and I met with Chris (www.airboatadventures.com) at the launch ramp for a tour of the swamp area on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain. This was a unique and highly interesting trip, and although I didn't capture the images I would have liked, I highly recommend such a tour if you are in the area. Chris knows the area and its plants and wildlife extremely well (it would be easy to get lost). He managed to pull up a baby alligator for some close-up shots before releasing it again. |
