Louisiana - Plantations 1
| The restored plantation homes of Louisiana are a big tourist draw, even in the off season. Wendy and I managed to stay at one of the cottages on the Oak Alley grounds, one of the many plantations along River Road beside the Mississippi River. The ability to wander the grounds early in the morning, or after the busloads of tourists had left at the end of the day, is a tremendous benefit to photographers. |
